Our task was to discover which material was the best filter. Dorothy predicted that it would be the voile becsuse; "it has tiny holes." We discovered that both the cotton and voile were the best because they separated yhe sand from the coffee. They also noticed that the coffee had changed from a solid to a liquid because it had dissolved.
